Many disagree on Kelly Clarkson’s “gross” shower behavior.

After Kelly Clarkson revealed what she occasionally enjoys doing in the shower, opinions have been divided.

During an interview on her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, she was discussing her time-saving trick for taking a shower with Saturday Night Live star Keenan Thompson.

I realize that’s a very typical television conversational thread.

In any case, it turns out that she enjoys brushing her teeth in the shower while getting a wash.

Time is automatically saved in a busy day, but many believed that an object like a toothbrush had no place in the shower.

She said: “Here’s the thing, I don’t regularly brush my teeth in the shower. I just do if I’m in a hurry. Now, I do happen to be in a hurry often.”

Thompson reassured her it was ‘fine’ and ‘where you are in the world’ before telling her: “I’m on the whole other side, where I find it to be gross.”

People were pretty split over whether this was ‘gross’ behaviour or actually iconic.

“Go get in the shower and somebody’s toothbrush is in here? I’m so concerned,” one wrote of the idea that the shower was a zone for cleaning the teeth as well as the body.

Someone else insisted that the place to brush one’s teeth was ‘at the sink not the shower’.

Others said they loved their ‘unfiltered queen’ and agreed that it was more ‘productive’ to brush teeth in the shower.

A third acknowledged that they were “always running late” and that, for them, shower time was the ideal time to wash their teeth. Another claimed that it resulted in “maximum efficiency.”

A lot of people believed that a toothbrush should only be used as a cleaning tool in the shower.

Naturally, you should use an old toothbrush—certainly not the one you would pick out to clean your teeth.

The topic of conversation that followed was Clarkson’s admission that she urinates in the shower almost every time.

Regarding appropriate medical advice, it is recommended against keeping your toothbrush in your shower as it is an environment that encourages the growth of bacteria.
