Before their anticipated boxing match, Jake Paul makes fun of Mike Tyson with an ear-biting video.

Before his eagerly awaited bout with Mike Tyson, Jake Paul made fun of the hard-bitten boxer on YouTube.

Before revealing a picture of a man who had an ear bite removed, Paul shared a video describing his new face tattoo, which is identical to Tyson’s (though it’s unclear if Paul’s tattoo is real). Paul suddenly appeared, his artificial ear in his mouth.

During a brawl in 1997, Tyson notoriously tore off a portion of Evander Holyfield’s ear. Tyson lost the fight as well as his boxing license as a result of the maneuver, however he eventually got it back. For the remainder of his career, Tyson would be recognized for one of the most odd moments in boxing history.

Tyson had an incredible career, winning 50 fights and 44 by knockout, despite the ear bite. The six-time heavyweight champion, at fifty-seven, is making a comeback to the ring to take on Paul after a hiatus of five years. In 2020, Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. engaged in an exhibition bout that resulted in a draw.

Paul, the 2020-debuting YouTuber-turned-boxer, is 9-1 overall, with victories over Nate Diaz, a former UFC fighter, and Tommy Fury.

Despite Paul’s younger age of 27 by thirty years, Tyson appears to be in good physical condition as he shared a frightening training video on social media earlier this week.

On July 20 in Arlington, Texas, Tyson and Paul will square off; the bout will stream on Netflix.
